The Szatyor Bar and Gallery operates separately from Hadik, with exciting visual design, first-class hospitality services, and a packed cultural and artistic program. It got its name from Karinthy, who, upon seeing the reed covering of the night bar that used to operate in the former Hadik cellar, declared that this place was like a basket. Its kitchen is truly cosmopolitan, with a wide selection of domestic and international flavors, exciting combinations, and a constantly changing menu according to the season. Undoubtedly one of the most popular places in Buda, it is a piece of contemporary Central Europe with incredible decor.
In 2010, Szatyor Bar and Gallery established a cultural incubation project called Szatyor Artspace at 33 Bartók Béla út.
Currently, Szatyor Artspace supports the Bartók Béla Boulevard Association, which operates in the district. The space, which also serves as the BBB's office, hosts cultural and community development activities: exhibitions, workshops, and discussions are held here, organized by the BBB.
